Infants and Pregnant Women

Women, particularly mothers, are generally open to learning any information that can help to improve the health of their children. The women in our community face many hardships in their lives, but still strive to provide the best for their families. The opportunity to learn about early childhood oral health was not something that many have had access to, and therefore this program brings this important information to them in a comfortable and convenient setting. The program focuses on educating the women about their oral health and the preventable nature of dental disease. Additionally, they learn important steps to maintain their children’s oral health, prevent dental caries and set them on a path of life long dental health.

Most of the women that PRASAD CDHP serves are enrolled with organizations such as WIC, Head Start, Public Health Services and Healthy Beginnings. PRASAD CDHP works with these organizations to reach the many women and infants in need of support.
